any men out there, would you like that, or is that just a girl thing, and would you be imbarresed?
my husband is 40, works at a big plant and is very important out there, but i would love to for valentines send him some roses, maybe not a dozen, but.... just a few... what do yall think?
Do men like flowers delivered to them at work?
Go for it. The other guys will be jealous. A guy I work with got them from his wife. The rest of us wish our wife would do something like that for us.
Reply:No for gods sake don't do it. I did this once and it turned out horribly for my husband. He's my ex now so I can laugh about it, but if you care for him you won't.
Reply:My husband has just turned 50 and in all honesty l don't believe he would appreciate getting any sort of flowers delivered to him at work or at home for that matter. I think it is more a girl thing. Perhaps you could send him a valentine teddy or heart, he may appreciate that more. Just a suggestion. Best of luck
Reply:Oh, mine does. He says it makes him feel special. He prefers roses too. I sure love that man!
Reply:If your questioning it, I would say no. I wouldn't like it.
Reply:Hell no.
Reply:No, that would not be a good idea. His (male)co-workers will make fun of him.
Reply:send him a arrangement that your can get from 1800 flowers they do make guy ones
Reply:he would be embarassed and his mates would take the piss!! Send him something if you like, but better not flowers... think of something more manly - his fav aftershave or a crate of beer (unless that could get him in trouble at work of course!) - or what about a really nice lunch hamper with all his fav foods...??
Reply:No
Reply:To be honest, no.
It is the embarrassment factor at stake here
Reply:DON'T DO IT.
EVERYONE WILL MAKE FUN OF HIM FOR YEARS!
HE WILL RECENT YOU FOR IT.
Reply:Unless your husband is gay, I don't think it's something he'd enjoy.
Reply:aww that's cute. send him roses. get rid of the sterotype of men and flowers. i know tons of men who love flowers but are afraid to say anything. Just maybe send him like 2 and send a card saying "Together like beautiful roses (or something cheesy and funny)... Happy Valentine's Day"
I truly think your husband will love that you thought about him. good luck
Reply:DON"T DO IT!
Unless you want him to be harrassed for the next 5 years.
Reply:That's great. Flowers are for everyone, there's no standard on giving flowers. Men get them when they die too. Give flowers to all that are alive to smell and enjoy them.
Reply:hmmm nice that you brought this up, i love flowers to receive and to give to; male and female recipient :)
Reply:My husband loves getting flowers at work. I suppose that would depend on your husband. You could say something like "Sheryl wants to send her husband flowers at work." and see how he reacts. Don't do it if it would embarrass him. Spend your money on something HE would like not something you WANT him to like. Good luck and have a great Valentines Day.
Reply:I love my significant other very much...but if she was to send me flowers to work.....that would be very embarrassing for me. I would hope that you would do something loving but something that can promote his masculinity better than flowers.
But that's my opinion
Reply:Yes, I love it. I have had many flowers felivered to me at work, and it makes all the other men jealous or mad that their women don't do that for them.
Reply:i wouldnt like it... and everyone would make fun of me at work.
Reply:Definitely not. Wouldn't want them at home either. Flowers all right in the house from market or something but not delivered. If you send them to your husband he will have to change job.
Reply:i wonder this too
Reply:My husband would like it, but that's just him (and he's a manly man too). I guess it just depends on your guy. What about send him a basket of stuff he likes to snack on? A few guys where my hubby works have received gifts like that from their gf/wives and they always gloat about it.
Reply:I couldn't resist answering this. I sent flowers to my husband at his work once for our anniversary when he was 40ish. He loved it! He was a little embarrassed but enjoyed the havoc it created with the women in the office because most of them do not receive flowers. It created a memorable moment for everyone. I threw in a balloon and some candy too. In a way it was a payback for all the times he came in the bank I worked at with those very loud singing stuffed animals, flowers and balloons. The bank was very big and I was the front desk person. The loud echo from the songs and peoples stares were quite memorable to me, everyone laughed and I wanted to crawl under my desk. Come to think of it, he hasn't done that in the last two years...Hmmmm. I would do it!
