How does a guy feel about having flowers delivered by his gf on his bday?

guys out there.. would you feel comfortable if this happens to you? i was thinking of having flowers delivered to my bf's home as a surprise for his bday.

Guys and flowers...hell no! They have no interest with flowers. Better send him a bday cake. Food are more meaningful.

I was disappointed actually! ;) I didn't send him flowers cos I was wondering if he'll like it (just like urself), but I did come over %26amp; brought him just one red rose (not more because of the previous reason)... %26amp; he said he was not a gay (?!?!?!) I was so very disappointed but didn't argue - still it was his day... But, he still keeps that rose (even almost 11 months later and even it is faded)... %26amp; I really don't know what 2 think...

Seriously, I'd rather go out to dinner, or have you make me a nice dinner, or bring ingredients for something I like to cook and a DVD of a movie I'd like to see and we could have a romantic evening together. Or just spending some quality time with you would be better than flowers...

Reply:I wouldn't do that, unless he is a plant collector or works in the garden a lot. Traditionally, flowers are given from the guy to the girl. Instead of giving him flowers, make a CD with all his favorite songs and have a cook out for his birthday. It might offend him, even if he doesn't show it. But, it is sweet to think of doing something special for him.

Reply:If its to his house its ok But if a gf sent me flowers. She would have to send it to my work and I think even though my friends at work would never let me live it down it would be nice.
Reply:uuummm i think that anything more then a single flower would be over doing it. and depending on the work place your bf's co workers could tease him about it :P


it is a nice idea, but i would say to got for something safer.
