A week ago I ordered flowers from a local FTD shop and on Feb.15 I get an email saying that "at this time we do not have a florist available in your recipient's delivery area who can deliver your product on 2/14." Can you believe that? She lives in the middle of MANHATTAN!! Don't tell me there are NO florists or deliveries in Manhattan!
This is just unacceptable, and on an occasion like this guys have to hang their head in shame because FTD could NOT do their job. This is the ONE day that makes FTD what it is...and they don't deliver.
I'm wondering how often does this happen where FTD can't deliver on Valentine's Day - let me know if you didn't get your FTD flower delivery, as scheduled, on Valentine's Day.
Flowers not delivered by FTD on Valentine's Day?
On Valentines Day, I learned a long time ago to contact the florist directly. When they price is given I include a good tip ahead of time. Remember that tip is To Insure Promptness. As for FTD make sure you stop payment with your credit card company. File a complaint if you can. Then to do damage control with your sweetheart, print out the email and give it to her with flowers that you bring her yourself. When she looks up from reading it, tell her that you were foolish to have trusted anyone else with a message from your heart.
Reply:that sucks. i live in florida and my boyfriend ordered me flowers and they STILL havent been delivered! I have to go pick them up myself NEVER going to have them ordered by FTD again!
Reply:I think what happens was as they were getting paid more fo the flowers in the days of valentines they cancelled the previous orders, and sold it for more.
Well you cant really do much now, you will get the money back or an apology but nothing more, how about you handpick some flowers, from garden, dont have to be roses or very nice, anything that is cute, make a bouquet type thing and give it to her now, she will appreciate it and love you more.
Reply:That's too bad. Please I live in NJ %26amp; FTD is worldwide. Hope your valentine forgave you.
