Absolutely not. That either makes them a very bad florist, or a home invader. If all deliveries can't be made by 7pm at the latest, then that company needs more help or less orders.
Do you think it is acceptable for a florist to call your home at 11pm to deliver flowers?
That would seem quite strange to me, and I would be a little reluctant to even open the door. So I would say no, that is not acceptable.
Reply:depends on wht the poerson who bought you flowers asked for!~
maybe they forgot ! best to call first!
but it does seem odd!
Reply:9pm would be the latest - you do mean a phone call right?
Otherwise tell them to call you back in the AM, oh wait whats their name again? So you can report them.
Reply:Not acceptable to me. The flowers can wait till Morning. What florist is open or delivering at that Hour??? I would not open the door to anyone at that hour. Exception: for an obviously bleeding person needing help.....
Reply:No I don't think this is acceptable. I should think many people would be worried about opening the door at that time, and of course some would already be asleep.
Reply:Strange! unless for a special purpose and if it is insisted by orderer.
I would like to get flowers early morning to make my day.
A sweet lady might make me change my mind ;-)
Reply:It depends on the time the one who ordered them told him to.
Reply:What is "call your home"? You mean phone call you to let you know you are getting flowers? Or you mean ring your doorbell and try to deliver?
Whichever the case, it's not acceptable. Anything after 8 p.m. is not proper. Do you know which florist it was? I would file a complaint with them.
Reply:Absolutely not- way too late.
Reply:Firstly it would be a miracle to get flowers
Secondly I would be up surfing the net ordering stuff. haha
Reply:It does seem odd but I would be so glad if my husband received his gift last night. He didn't and I'm bummed. I wish I had known beforehand. I had no reason to think that he wouldn't receive it.
It's a bit strange but at least you got it. It seems above and beyond.
